Magdala House @magdalahouse

Today, My Life In A Bag Foundation supported an amazing organization called Magdala House @magdalahouse . They help homeless adults by providing housing and various resources to help them get back on their feet. Monica White, the deputy director, shared with me that these incredible people keep their belongings in trash bags and boxes because most of them come from foster care and residential group homes. It’s normal for them to transport their belongings this way. We both recognize the need to continue to support this change in our community, so we have collaborated to pull resources together to support the needs of the community that align with our organization’s mission and vision.

We provided 20 pieces of luggage, 20 tote bags, 15 duffle bags, 1 case of men’s body wash, and 1 case of women’s body wash. Our new family knows that we have their back, just as they have had ours.
