TESTIMONIES
Mary Ann Testimony
From the very beginning, Mary Ann has been a cornerstone of our journey.
In our very first year, when we were just planting the seeds of My Life in a Bag Foundation, she showed up with open arms and carloads of luggage — giving not only essential items, but hope to youth who needed it most.

Her unwavering belief in our mission has inspired others to join us, and her impact continues to echo in every life we touch.

Thank you, Mary Ann, for being one of our first and biggest supporters. Your heart, generosity, and dedication have helped shape this foundation into what it is today. We’re forever grateful.

Larry Blue Testimony
From Day One, Larry Blue has been a pillar of strength and support for My Life in a Bag Foundation.
His unwavering belief in our mission has not only fueled our momentum but helped shape our story. Larry has consistently shown up, shown out, and stood tall beside us—event after event—bringing energy, wisdom, and a passion that continues to uplift our foundation.

His involvement goes far beyond attendance; Larry has opened doors, extended invitations, and poured his heart into ensuring our youth feel seen, supported, and empowered. His guidance and presence have been a true blessing to our organization.

We wholeheartedly believe that My Life in a Bag Foundation wouldn’t be where it is today without Larry Blue. His impact is immeasurable, and we are endlessly grateful for the legacy he continues to build alongside us.
Foster Parent
A devoted foster parent has stepped up once again—this time to lovingly raise her grandchild and provide a safe, nurturing home during a time of transition. Taking on this new responsibility comes with many challenges, but also with a deep commitment to family and care.

My Life In A Bag Foundation was honored to support this new journey by providing the youth with a brand-new piece of luggage filled with essential items he can call his own. Having personal belongings in a place of his own helps bring comfort, dignity, and a sense of stability. As he shared in the video, he feels truly blessed—a reminder of how meaningful even small acts of kindness can be during big life changes.

Thank you for visiting our headquarters and allowing My Life In A Bag Foundation to be part of this special moment. Together, we continue working to improve the lives of children in foster care by ensuring they feel valued, supported, and prepared for the road ahead.

"Foster Friend"
A caring and compassionate caseworker recently learned about the My Life In A Bag Foundation and brought two foster youth with her to receive support. This meaningful visit reflects exactly why My Life In A Bag exists—to serve youth in foster care by improving their lives through new luggage and essential items they can call their own.

Both youth were absolutely excited and grateful, especially because they had the opportunity to choose the exact luggage they wanted and select essentials that fit their personal needs. Having the chance to make their own choices made the experience even more special, and everything was carefully packed inside their new luggage for them to take with them.

A special thank you to this wonderful “Foster Friend,” as the youth lovingly called their caseworker in the video. Your dedication and kindness help make moments like this possible, and together we continue to uplift and support youth in foster care.
Foster Youth
At the Winter Reading Carnival, My Life In A Bag Foundation (MLIAB) had the honor of providing one foster youth with brand-new luggage packed with essential items—including t-shirts, pajamas, soap, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and more. These are more than items; they represent dignity, care, and a sense of belonging.
Being able to impact the lives of these youth in real time is exactly why our mission matters. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the foster parents and caseworkers who brought the youth out and made this moment possible. Your dedication and support do not go unnoticed.
It was truly a pleasure connecting with the youth and the community.
